Merry Christmas. My brother, Scott, and his fiancee, Cecilia, came to visit. They were both impressed by how well Newton was doing on 3 legs. My brother had met Newton before, but this was the first time that Cecilia met him. She did a good job at showing Newton who was boss when he would try to challenge her. Newton also saw Cecilia as the treat machine, following her around in hopes that she would share whatever goodie she was eating.

Newton also had a great time opening the presents that his friends from the Bone Cancer Dogs Yahoo group. They were so generous and Newton was having the time of his life.

We had the neighborhood over for Christmas dinner and to play games. One of Newton's doggie friends, Braun, even came over. For most of the time, Newton and Braun had to play in his room since there was so much going on and so much food. I also discovered that Newton is a big fan of bright-colored poffy jackets. Who would have guessed?!?!
