There isn't a day that goes by when I am not impressed by how strong Newton has gotten since his amputation. He is my miracle boy. My boyfriend, Scott, lives in the country with lots of critters. Newton loves coming to Scott's house. There are loads of bunnies and deer to chase. Not to mention all of the birds that love to torment him.

Since Newton has a habit of wandering too far when he is not on a leash (and of course he doesn't want to listen), we had to implement a "Newton on a leash" policy whenever he goes outside. Today, I was shocked by his strength. Newton saw a couple of bunnies and decided to take off running. Snap...the leash snapped in half and off Newton went. Man, my boy is strong!!!
